Client Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) fails to initialize on warm launches / secondary boots

Upon launching the Roblox Player client on Windows, Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) fails to initialize properly, leaving geometry edges, character avatars, and parts overall looking pixelated and aliased even at Graphics Quality Level 10.

Performing a fresh clean reinstallation fixes the issue for the first launch only. Upon closing the client and launching any experience a second time, MSAA completely fails to load.

Adjusting the graphics slider from 1 to 10 correctly updates shadows, lighting, and render distance, but object and avatar edges remain pixelated (identical to Level 1 graphics).

The game does not crash, freeze, or display error messages. Performance and FPS remain stable.

Occurs across all experiences client-wide. Tested with default graphics settings and NVIDIA Control Panel overrides disabled.

This started happening around 24 hours ago and I didn’t make any changes to my system whatsoever before this began happening.

Expected behavior

When setting Graphics Quality to Manual Level 8–10, internal Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) should consistently initialize across all client sessions to smooth polygon and part edges, regardless of whether it is a cold or warm boot.

Out of curiosity, do any of your client logs show you as being enrolled in the zfrmdisablemsaa channel?

It looks like it? This is my latest log, there’s a few mentions of it.

If that were to be the issue (it looks to be), what would the solution be?

Yeah having a similar issue. I have maxed out my graphics but the character models still look pixelated on the edges.

Could this be related to the recent font rendering issue happening across Studio and many clients?

I wouldn’t be able to tell you honestly, it seems I’ve been enrolled in a channel zfrmdisablemsaa and that looks to be what’s causing it.

Having this same issue too. Studio quality (parts,. meshes, lighting) has significantly degraded, looks very pixelated.
