Cloning character problem

plr.CharacterAdded:Connect(function(char)
char.Archivable = true
local clone = char:Clone()
end

The clone returns the model, humanoid and the starterscripts, but not the parts.

Im assuming you’re trying to clone the player. Am I right?

If that’s what you’re trying to do then do this:

local Dummy = game.ReplicatedStorage.Rig

game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function(plr)
	plr.CharacterAdded:Connect(function(char)
		repeat wait() until char ~= nil
		local DummyClone = Dummy:Clone()
		DummyClone.Parent = game.Workspace
		local Outfit = game.Players:GetHumanoidDescriptionFromUserId(plr.UserId)
		DummyClone.Humanoid:ApplyDescription(Outfit)
	end)
end)

Put a Dummy inside ReplicatedStorage

hmm, weird that the cloning worked when I opened a new place, but won’t work for the original one.
