Cloning/Creating instances with SpecialMeshes destroys performance

Something recently happened to how Roblox handles special meshes, because this wasn’t a problem about a week ago.
Whenever we have an explosion play that uses these special shockwave visual effects it causes fps to drop instantly to 0 depending on how much SpecialMeshes you clone.
The video below is an instance without using the special meshes.

Now here’s with the SpecialMeshes. The second video shows it better.


This only seems to be happening to our game due to us having a larger map as most games that use these similar visual effects usually have a smaller map, and we noticed that this issue is only happening to our end game maps which are more detailed.

Expected behavior

What we’re expecting to happen is only a few frames, from like 120 to 115 or 110, like it was doing about a week.

I tried playing your game and I wasn’t able to reproduce similar performance issues when using the blaze column spell

Is the issue still occurring? If so, do I need to be in a specific map to see it?
Please provide a map if that is the case

This was fixed, a few days later after the post was made.
