Snake Productions* is looking for a Hiring Frond-end/Back-end Scripter that can script things like a leveling system /w persistent data, A character customization system with items that effect different stats and other player qualities, the Combat System and its associated mechanics, and more!

FAQ

What’s the payment and how will it be given?

$100-350 USD (Initial Pay) Contract Based + 30% Game Revenue The payment will be distributed via Paypal. Robux rates are also optional and can be discussed. After the said work has been completed and shown, payment will be sent to you in which afterwards you can send your product.

How much do I have to do and of what variety?

You will be creating Scripts which includes but is not limited to:

Movement Mechanics
Combat System and it’s Mechanics
Leveling System
Stats and Skills System
Character Customization and Item System
and more!

Further information will be given once hired or in private.

There is no set amount on how many scripts are needed, this job is contract based so you we will agree on a set amount which will be completed before a contract extension for more.

How will I receive what to do?

Full detailed explanations and examples will be given before the start of each task. Throughout the tasking period, members of the development team will be available for further assistance on how the scripts should be made and what they should contain.

Do I have to work with other people?

No you don’t have to, but there will be other scripters on board which may influence your code.

Is this a one man job?

No, but if you can do it all by yourself the payment will be a lot higher.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have had experience with Scripting in Roblox Studio
  • Proficient in most if not all parts of Roblox Lua
  • Have had experience with Optimizing and Troubleshooting problems and errors
  • Able to efficiently work on a task and finish in a timely manner
  • Committed to creating a well rounded and product

You’re offering far to little for the suggested tasks. For coding an entire game, you should be offering the scripter a percentage of game profits as well, starting at a minimum of 30%.

There’s no reason for anyone to work for you at these rates, instead they could hire their own team and code their own game, while getting the majority of the profits.

The tasks will be split between the other 3 scripters we have. They wouldn’t be creating the entire game, instead just a few tasks to contribute to the game’s development progression. As stated, the tasks will be given before hand and agreed on before any work is started.

Working with other peoples code adds extra work, because they have to read and learn how the other peoples code works. The more people you add, the messier it gets.

Your post also made no mention of other scripters, which makes it appear like who you’re hiring will be doing every task themselves.
