I am looking for a scripter and an animator to help me make RO-Clashers! As the title states, I will be giving around 75% of the game’s profits, divided between the developers of the game.
What is RO-Clashers?
RO-Clashers is a duke-it-out fighting game, inspired by the games in the Super Smash Bros. series with my own unique twist on it. It will have Roblox avatars and other fictional characters. It will allow the players to decide to fight with or without a strategy and will include different character types (fighting styles, attributes).
I basically need people who are willing to develop for the game entirely and occasionally after the game releases for updates/gamepasses. I will need quite a bit of scripting to be done.
Things to be scripted
- A fighting and damage system (similar but not exactly like Smash)
- Menu, settings, stage select, match settings, stage settings, etc.
- Damage UI, timer (when player chooses a timed match)
- Teleport players to the selected stage
- Stage hazards (if applicable)
No, I haven’t forgotten about animators, I’m going to need a decent amount of animations as well.
Things to be animated
- Multiple punches
- Special attacks (The attacks are completely up to you)
And for the UI…
Things to be designed
- Character select
- Stage select
- Match settings
- Stage settings
- Damage UI
The character renders will be provided so don’t worry.
Ah, the robuckeroos… I’m offering a percentage because, simply put, I don’t have enough to pay upfront. Yes, yes, risky. However, I see a lot of potential in this game in almost every aspect. I am also looking for investors so I can at least pay you (the developer(s) who get the job) for your work. I also don’t have enough USD to pay via PayPal, very sorry about that.
I’d appreciate it greatly if you showed any previous work/games you’ve worked on, successful or not. Just anything to show me how well you can understand what you’re applying for.
If you need to contact me, my contacts are:
And of course, DM me on DevForum
I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
Remember, even if you don’t think you’re good enough for the job, try anyway! You never know…
