About Me
Hey! I’m DJ_Sharpnel, a builder/game designer. I am looking to hire an advanced/intermediate programmer, I specialize in making semi cartoony based maps. I have a passion for building semi open world MMORPG builds as well as making games for the genre. I usually only like to work with myself and assistance from UI designers, as well as scripters, which is why I’m here, from having visible struggle finding a scripter that is willing to work properly with me.

About The Job
I am looking for an advanced/intermediate scripter that is able to script the following:
Datastores
AI [think of it like a typical RPG mob, NPC chasing, attacking, rewards on kill etc.]
Achievement system [basically you can get rewarded from completing achievements, whether based on kill count, time played or currency earned]
Scripting UI open/close
Inventory system [UI already made]
Weapon system [I can create/design weapons]
Pet system
Expectations when working
Activity
Don’t come to apply when you have tons of other things to do, e.g. If school is available for you, and know that you’ll take a while or be constantly busy.
I have a problem with scripters that will take my request but then don’t warn about anything they may be busy for in the future and end up taking a long time. Make sure you’re able to take the request comfortably as that’d also be the best for you, and myself.
Attentiveness, willing to work etc.
This is my way of saying ‘Don’t ignore me!!’ - I get sometimes naturally people don’t reply to messages if it doesn’t seem needed, though this is not what I mean. This can easily make me throw in the towel
Other
You also won’t be given the game to work on, but a test game with some of the things already done.
Please come to me with examples or a portfolio. No examples or portfolio won’t get you hired unless you have some other great way to sell yourself, group experience is not always going to be one of them.
If you know you can’t do some of the things listed, I would recommend not applying but I have no problem if you want to as depending on your ability I may still end up hiring you. If you have any disagreements regarding me e.g payment, as I will say down more, you can suggest to be paid what you think is more fair.
Providing updates is optional but I will frequently ask for it once you start on a task.
Deadline?
Some of the tasks will have a deadline from AT LATEST the start of September. I would highly recommend you try to get it done faster if you can. some of the tasks included are AI, UI open/close, weapons, and the datastore. Some of which has already been done but if you want to redo them, I don’t mind.
Payment
For each task done [that is listed in the category] I can pay from 800-1.7k R$. (The range is fairly high depending on speed, if you can get tasks done in a day or 2 it’s basically guaranteed you can have payment upwards of 1k, very slowly can easily get you on the lower end). Unless you want to object (which I am completely fine with,this is a job you’re applying for so suggesting different prices or different payment upon completion is okay, just make sure you’re comfortable with my range before applying, as this is per task done). So, generally, if we take all 6 tasks listed you could be paid 4.8k-10.2k.
‘Task done’ refers to the ‘About the job’ section for each part of the list done would get you that amount of payment. Payment by group funds, R$ only.
