Artemis Lunar Base Experience

About Us

Hello everyone! My name is @DylanGTech, a very experienced scripter, currently interested in utilizing Roblox as an educational platform, in particular for computing, science, and space exploration. Over the summer and fall, I intend to organize and develop a group that will create realistic renders of future space endeavors. The first of these projects will be Artemis Base Camp, a lunar program in the works by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and their partners. Other projects may come about in the future. Monetization will be in the form of accessing areas in-world as well as cosmetics.

About The Job

We are looking for two major roles (no scripting required for either role, although preferable):

  • Builder - Create realistic models based upon plans for real-world objects. These include habitats, spacecraft, spacesuits, and rovers.
  • UI Designer/Artist - Create realistic textures for said objects where necessary, as well as graphical user interfaces for the game in a consistent style. This may also include in-game functions for actions, driving, and life support (ex: oxygen levels)

Our experience(s) will requite work over the course of the season. Once accepted, the developers are welcome to leave input. Deadlines may be loose. However, collaborative work will be emphasized, so please be ready to use Voice Chat and finding common times to work. Research may also be done together to emphasize a level of realism. However, that will largely be my role.

Payment

For each experience we work on (for now, only the Lunar Base), a lump sum payment of 2000 Robux will be paid after being accepted and skillful work has been demonstrated, and at least 15% of the profits made will be paid out to you through our group once your work is near complete. These can be negotiated.
