Hello everyone! My game development group, B00MBox Productions is looking for a dedicated programmer to help create our in-development game named “Rhythm Stars”
The Game
“Rhythm Stars” is a rhythm - sandbox tycoon game hybrid which plays off as a roleplaying game. In the game you’re a street dancer who can interact with various NPC that’ll help you create a nightclub tycoon. The gameplay is split between doing dance battles, managing nightclubs and doing smaller quests.
The Job
You are the game’s sole programmer and you’ll be required to program gameplay features along with data saving and bug fixing. We’ll be adding content which you have to program while the game is in paid access. We will be going for a paid access release in April and a full free release on June 21st. This is a job for the foreseeable future, not just till release.
Here’s a list of things you’ll be working on as programmer. The trello list has hyperlinks leading to other parts of the board explaining gameplay features.
The Work Style
Good communication skills are necessary. You must be willing to work alongside other people & be willing to update existing code. You are required to regularly report progress as you work!. We use a discord group chat to communicate with our group members, required assets for programming will be created by other group members while you work. You are required to work at least 14 hours a week.
The Pay
You will be given robux for finishing milestones (at least 50k robux) and you’ll receive 45% share of game profits for your work while the game is in paid access and after release.
