Hello there. We own a decently popular game called Era Of Terror, which is a game that involves survival as a dinosaur on a harsh island environment. We have been working to make this game the absolute best it could possibly be on ROBLOX, and if you want to check it out, here’s a link.
We are looking for an experienced professional scripter to script a datastore system where you can save your dinosaur in-game. The specifications are:
- Option for a player to save their game, which would save hunger, thirst, stamina, health, growth stage, and the humanoidrootpart position of the dinosaur. Players must only be able to save if an area within 500 studs of their character is devoid of any other players. If it isn’t devoid, it should say “Find a safer area.”
- Multiple save slots to use to save dinosaur growth, but only 1 would be free. The other 2 must cost money to purchase.
- Save slots themselves decay over a period of 8 days, and the decay timer can be reset if a player either purchases 8 extra days for the slot to stay up, or plays for 20 minutes on the dinosaur saved inside of the slot.
