The Game
Apocalypse Rising 2 is an open-world tactical survival shooter, where players must scavenge for supplies, defend themselves against the infected, and kill or be killed by other players! It has always been our goal to create one of the highest quality games on Roblox, and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. After almost five years of development, we are nearing the completion of Apoc 2’s core gameplay!

About The Job
We’re looking to contract someone who has experience animating R15 characters. In this case we prefer Roblox animations, as opposed to animations made in blender or other 3rd party software. I say this because we’re not interested in mo-cap style animation with hundreds of keyframes, we’d like something easily editable. Initially, the job will be to create and iterate on movement animations for our infected NPCs and player character. We will also need item interaction/usage animations, and a series of combat animations for a wide variety of melee weapons. Later on, (2-3 months from now) we will require a substantial amount of work to be done on our firearm animations - but this is not our immediate priority.
For years now, we’ve had the pleasure to work with @ChadTheCreator for all of our animation needs. He is certainly the most experienced animator I have worked with thus far, and he did an incredible job establishing a solid baseline of animations for Apoc 2. But now we need someone who has a bit more time to iterate and produce a higher volume of content as we polish the game and begin work on the final core gameplay features.
This is not a full-time position. 5-15 hours of work per week is roughly what we would expect. Working around any other responsibilities or commitments should not be a problem for us at all. There is a lot of work to be done, but we anticipate progress will be drawn-out over the next few months at least. Also, U.S. timezone is preferred, but not essential.
Payment
We are paying $25/hour for someone with experience animating R15 characters in Roblox. If selected for this position, you will digitally sign a work-for-hire artist contract. USD payments will be sent through PayPal upon receipt of each invoice. There is no hard-set restriction on when or how frequent invoices may be submitted, and an invoice template will be provided for you.
