About Snape Studios
Hi! I’m the owner of Snape Studios.
We are currently working on a simulator game (cliche, yes, I know), called “Coder Simulator”. It is in alpha, and it seems to be that our current scripter has become quite inactive. On Saturday we got to the front page with a peak of over 3,000 concurrent players, and sadly, the game started getting exploited on and lots of bugs started to appear. Since our scripter has become inactive, we are looking for a new member of our team.
We require all team members to be older than 13.

About The Game
Coder Simulator is a game with some more complex mechanics in terms of simulators. You start off in the garage of your house, with the ability to purchase desks and coders. These can be placed down in your garage. The coders make you a certain income depending on the coder, and the desks give you a multiplier of income. You can also upgrade your house and move into an office, and even a warehouse, to get more space for more coders and desks. There is also a rebirth system in place, as well as leaderboards and twitter codes.
About The Job
We are looking for a very experienced scripter who knows how to develop games that are going to be heavily played. You need to be able to use DataStores with ease, and you should be able to manage any task given. You should also have experience with exploit protection, as games that become popular tend to be exploited (ours has already been exploited recently).
In terms of activity, the time you spend per day scripting does not really matter, as long as you are efficient and can get things done. To give a general idea, I would say about 3-4 hours of efficient and good work fits this job.
In terms of what works need to be done, there is a lot. Parts of the game have to be rewritten to prevent exploits, and new game mechanics have to be added. We plan on releasing an update every weekend. We can discuss what scripting exactly needs to be re-done, but its mostly patching bugs with the current game and fixing small issues, and after that, working for the next update.
Payment
The payment can be either a % of all game revenue, or a single-time payment. If you decide to only work on patching bugs, you would not take a % of game revenue, but rather a single payment for your commission. If you were to decide to apply to join the team, then you would be able to receive a percentage of all revenue. This percentage would be negotiated and decided upon the amount of work, expertise, and effort put into each update.
