Hey everyone,
I’m working on a co-op logistics simulator called Postal INC. It’s in a very early MVP stage (maybe 30% to 40% complete). To be completely upfront: the full core gameplay loop is NOT finished yet.
The main concept of the game is player interdependence—a supply chain where one player’s job feeds directly into the next. If one role stops, the whole warehouse slows down. Right now, I’m trying to nail down the first half of this chain and need feedback on how the mechanics feel.
Here is what is currently testable:
- Attendant (Front Desk): You take in customers, process the packages, and send them to the back.
- Sorter (Level 5+): You grab those processed boxes, slap a receipt on them, and stack them on pallets for automated shelving. (Note: These two roles are currently the only way to earn XP and money).
What is NOT ready (so please don’t waste time onn it):
- Delivery (Level 10+): The final step is incomplete. You can buy a Sprinter van in the parking lot next to the HUB, and the MDT will show what’s in your vehicle, but you cannot actually start deliveries yet.
- Handtrucks: Not purchasable yet. I left a prompt to spawn one if you want to mess around, but the physics are super buggy. Only Small Boxes work with.
What I need from you: Since the full loop isn’t done, I just want to know if the Attendant and Sorter jobs are actually fun to play. Does grabbing, labeling, and palletizing feel smooth, or is it clunky? Does the dependency between players feel rewarding so far, or just annoying?
Appreciate any honest feedback! If you have any intention of helping this project grow, send a PM.
