Club Sound Echo/Distortion

Hey everyone, so I’m working on a club game and I want that realistic club sound effect where its like echoing (if you don’t get it search up travis scott - goosebumps but you’re in the bathroom at a party) obviously a little more loud but still distorted/echoey does anyone know like the best settings and setup for this?

I’m not the best with sound design but I’ll have a go at it I suppose.
For an echo effect the ‘Mountains’ ambient reverb seems nice, as it is subtle and doesn’t get in the way of the track and it’s lyrics, however is noticeable once past volume 2/3. You could also try adding a reverb effect to the sound instances, and then configuring them so that they add a small amount of tinny reverb, decay time ~ 1 is usually good for this.

If not, perhaps add speaker parts to the workspace, with a sound parented to them which has a MaxRollOffDistance of around 100, and use a playlist script to select a track from a folder and change these speaker’s sound ids to that of the selected sound. This might give a spatial feel to it.

the reverb is really good but its really loud even with low volume variable in studio anyway to fix this?

I’m not sure if volume remains the same when in edit and when in a play test, were you in a Run Test or previewing?

If that doesn’t make a difference though, try to play around with the volume a bit, maybe lower it enough to keep the SoundService reverb but also stay relatively quiet. If this still doesn’t work, you may need the spatial sort of thing with multiple speaker parts, since they will all not be exactly in time, which should still provide the reverb effect you were looking for.

yeah i just lowered volume to 0.09 tysm.
