I am trying to make a game that involves being able to hit the hockey puck when the user swings their mouse past it, however when I do this fast it goes right through.
The hockey stick is welded to the character and the character points to the mouse using raycasting. I’ve tried using body gyros but it has been the same. Any help would be very appreciated.
I meant to use anything that involves physics such as BodyMovers. Manually CFraming the stick does not utilize physics properly which is the source of your problem; it can “move” so fast that in one frame it’s behind the pluck, but in the next, it’s in front of it. I believe the Roblox physics engine has a continuous collision model that addresses this, which is why I’m suggesting you use those.
