Hello all, I’m trying to shift the look of my city from beach to something more like the first image, the problem is I’m having trouble choosing a good color for the parts near the water.

I hardly could tell if you intend it to be shifted by a natural material like sand or mud. Or want to be shifted by man made construction.
If in case you want it to be man made. Just put a grey brick that act like a foundation for a catwalk street.

The color you’ve picked seems fine but I don’t know why you’d put concrete at a waters edge when sand does literally just fine. You could replace it with a pier?
