How I found it / Explaining the Issue
I’ve found myself, right after posting a reply/topic, editing and removing a big chunk of it (because I wasn’t intending to include it).
Not once or twice but many times, and I’ve seen some people do it too.
Or they write a sentence or two and then, right after, add the rest.
After discovering this issue, I have tried to write my post in one go and to not edit it again, but when I tried to, I’ve found myself retracing the whole post just to edit a section of it.

Not being able to:
- Retrace the text easily and find where each section is located.
- ( Yes i know there is a View Mode next to The Editor … stay with me )
- Format the post easily.
- Which discourages devs from trying to format their posts, or, more accurately, not knowing how to.
- Making posts full of information a bit easier to understand
- Which Leads to more posts filled with questions/requests to explain more.
Suggested Solution
Combine the Edit Mode / View Mode.
Add more formatting options. So we don’t have to go copy the HTML code.
If you fear the performance, make it a button so we can toggle it.
I made a few mistakes in the screenshots/post, but this time I won’t blame the editor ( a joke ).
Some of you may think, “There’s so much formatting in this post without the need to.”
Yes, I exaggerated a bit here to show the difference.
Sorry for my English.
