Hey everyone,
I am one of the owners of a gameshow community called “APS” with 3k members.
Our group got locked on June 30th without any pre-warning and any information about the reason of this.
We wrote an E-Mail to Roblox asking for the reason and they told us (ONE WEEK after we got locked) that we “violated the Roblox Community Standards: Suicide and Self Harm”.
We are a gameshow community playing tv shows for fun and entertainment. We don’t have anything to do with one of these topics Roblox mentioned in their E-Mail.
Building this community with 3k members was five years of hard (dev) work destroyed on one day for a reason we can’t explain.
We also closed our group wall 2 days before our group got locked.
We still don’t know the exact reason which event/post/… caused this lock - we only have the “topic”.
We would be very happy for any help or other insights from other group owners/admins that have or had to deal with this too.
Did any locked group ever got “unlocked”? Can you share your story with us?
If there’s people from the Roblox Support in here: Can you tell us what exactly caused our lock and is there a chance to get unlocked?
