Comparing my first GFX PFP and the recent one I made

Salutations, I just made my recent PFP GFX for myself, and I thought to myself “What would if I compare my old PFP GFX to the recent one I made”, so here it is:
Old One:

Any feedback or opinion of yours is appreciated!

On the second GFX it’s a little to dark on the characters face. That’s my only complaint/criticism (whatever you want to call it).

I agree with what @jayroblightning said.

I love the look of the art, but to me I feel like you can add a little more passion and your own twist to it.

I would work on making the blacks a little brighter to add more emphasis to your picture. Your angles are super important too, the tree on the right looks like it’s asking for more attention than the character on the car. For amazing photos, make it your best intention to bring focus on your subject. You can also blur the background for your next photos and see if you enjoy the effect!

Lastly, I recommend trying to add shading yourself in the program you are in. Keep playing with your colors to give your photos a unique appearance. Putting in the extra effort to make your characters stand out and have unique features would make a huge difference in what you create. Hope to see your work again soon!

From the start it’s a good improvement with little details around the scene.

If you’re more wanting a night approach you should decrease the amount of lighting hitting the core material, if the street lamps are creating that sort of effect, try moving the sun away from the vehicle so it could look more realistic in a kind of way.

Place headlights in the front of the car exterior so it’ll feature those additional details or objects cast some lighting on the character itself.

Maybe add something interested in the character or scene place more cars in the background or add street details. I’d recommend giving the scene a little more interest, add something to make it pop more there’s much you can improve upon this I would just see how can you make this stand out.

Other than that decent job, i hope to see you improve in the future.
