AREA PHOS is a serious role-playing game with unique features and a concept. Volunteers are the lowest-ranking personnel in the installation. If they wish to refuse to become an operative in the future, they are always allowed to ask to join any available department.
This post is mainly used for game rules. Please read this before playing the game!
- Be respectful
- Any form of discrimination or harassment is not allowed. You are allowed to hate or become negative towards others ONLY for roleplay purposes; personal attacks or disrespect are not allowed.
- Be appropriate
- Please behave appropriately and make sure that your avatar is neither inappropriate nor suggestive. Usage of avatar features/parts such as shading, too much skin-revealing, or political or historical visuals is not allowed; this includes inappropriate actions such as ro-banging (W+S). Bypassing chat filter is also not allowed.
- Do not be disruptive
- Intentionally disrupting, ruining, or making an unnecessary scene of someone else’s ongoing roleplay scene is not tolerated. Trolling or ragebaiting is included.
- Impersonation
- Attempting to impersonate anyone, department members, or any staff members is not allowed. However, matching outfits are allowed, but they still must comply with the second rule; twins can be used for roleplay.
- Exploiting, glitching, or bug abusing
- Exploiting, especially in a game like this, is NEVER allowed. Glitching and bug abusing are also not tolerated because they ruin the immersion. Please report any bugs, and do not use them. If anything like physics bugs, unintentional stun, or anything similar, it will not count as a violation of this rule.
- In-Character
- Please keep in mind that anything you do is automatically in-character. Use “//” at the beginning of your message to indicate that you are out of character this time; otherwise, you can change your name and have the format as “OOC (@nexipat)” (DO NOT INSERT UR USERNAME, IT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DONE) permanently unless you are ready to be in-character again. Accidents or mistakes are always forgiven!
- Language
- The game’s primary language is English. Ensure that your English level is good enough not to confuse others while speaking. Your choice of words is important! However, this doesn’t mean we WOULDN’T allow anyone who is still a beginner in English; we let them enjoy the game!
- Improper roleplay (or Fail Roleplay)
- During any roleplay scenarios, it must be realistic. Your character WILL not have any superpowers that make you invincible or something that doesn’t make your character fear anything or anyone else. Unrealistic actions such as teleports or becomes invisible will immediately count as a Fail Roleplay. Standing on someone’s head is also immediately considered a Fail Roleplay.
- Character Age
- Since the complex is mainly used to train future operatives, if your character is below the age of 18 or above 62, then you will not be allowed in. However, you must act like an adult, and your mind too. Veterans are also allowed in, as long as they are protected.
- Complex Duties
- You do not need to buy a specific UGC or clothes to get in uniform of a specific department. There is a planned system to do that for you automatically! If you are on duty, you must act as one; any small distractions are okay, but remember you have a responsibility in-game.
- If you are a department member or high-ranking personnel. You do not have the authority or power to harass, admin abuse, or such UNLESS permitted by me.
- Accusations
- If you go out of your way and call out anyone in-game as a bad actor. Please do not do it publicly! Instead, report them to our staff members (or me) so that it can be discussed privately. Calling anyone out or reporting them without any evidence cannot be moved further.
- Common sense
- Please think before you take an action or say something that isn’t okay thing to do. Just because something isn’t written in the rules means it cannot be moderated.
The rules are not meant to be strict but instead keep an environment where it is intended most of the time. If you find any bugs, please report them. If you find anyone being annoying or a nuisance, please report them. We do not need anything that escalates it further!
- What if my character is non-human? Like a robot or anything?
We accept anyone regardless of their identity. If you want to fight for our country, go ahead! Be the hero that everyone needs!
