I’ve been having difficutly getting objects to snap to other objects. Whenever I attempt to select and drag an object it doesn’t instantly allign with the object i’m trying to place it on, however, sometimes it does but it’s never consistent. Studio randomly switches between these 2 and I can’t figure out what triggers it. Am I hitting a keybind I’m not aware of?
Do you mind providing screenshots or a video to explain your problem better? I believe I know what you are talking about, but I need more information to make sure.
When I drag an object with the select tool it either keeps the orientation or it alligns with the object it’s snapped to, i’m trying to find out exactly what causes this so I can control when i do or don’t want to use it. I hope my screenshot is able to clear up some miscommunication.
Try right-clicking and press “Align Dragged Objects”.

I don’t know of any keybinds for this, but you can change, add, or delete them by pressing File > Advanced > Customize Shorcuts.
