Console UI Interaction Bug on console Affecting Monetization

We’re experiencing a critical UI bug on consoles affecting players using controllers. The in-game shop UI is no longer interactable:
we’ve been facing this for the past 4 weeks that’s significantly impacted our game’s monetization (estimated drop of over 35%).

The issue specifically affects players using controllers on consoles. Our in-game shop system, which was previously working across all platforms, is now completely non-functional for console users. Controller users are unable to interact with the shop UI, the blue highlight box does not appear on the shop elements (though it does appear on other UI components), and the virtual cursor does not respond to any shop buttons.

We’ve attempted multiple fixes, including reverting to the older version of the shop UI that used to function correctly, but nothing has resolved the issue. There have been no recent changes on our end, so we suspect this may be related to a platform-level update or change in behavior on Roblox’s side.

  • Blue highlight box doesn’t appear on shop elements.
  • Virtual cursor doesn’t register button clicks in the shop.
  • Other UI components still work correctly.

Steps to replicate the issue

  1. Open game on console with a controller.
  2. Open shop UI.
  3. Attempt to interact, nothing responds.

Expected behavior

The Shop was and should still be interactable for console/controller players
