Content maturity label mistakenly or falsely rejected

Good afternoon. I am the developer of a game called Gotham 2: Batman New Roleplay and my Maturity & Compliance Questionnaire submission has been rejected for the following reason:

We can kill other players frequently in this experience.

This is incorrect. Players cannot kill other players (not even NPCs) in the game. There are multiple weapons and fighting tools present in the game, but none of them inflict damage upon other players; they simply play an animation and other effects such as wooshes, gunshots and muzzle flash.

What I found even more confusing is that a second feedback was given, suggesting that violence is not present, which I personally disagree with; there are fighting animations and weapons (including firearms) in the game, which implies violence through gameplay depictions of their use without any actual depictions of characters being harmed beyond the imagination of the player. I believe the “Violence (Occasional/Mild)” was reasonable for the game, but I can label the game as not having violence at all, since the player is uncapable of actually inflicting harm upon other characters in the game using its provided mechanics.

Expected behavior

Ideally, in my opinion, the questionnaire should be accepted as it was, however, I will now submit the questionnaire as not containing violence, as the game does not actually have any violence beyond the handling and usage of hand-to-hand combat techniques and firearms for roleplaying purposes, without any depictions of characters being hurt or killed.
