As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to not get the video I paid 2000 Robux to upload get automatically copyright striked and rendered useless.
Today I spent 2000 Robux uploading a 19 second Video on the Roblox website using an apparently copyrighted song in the background. At least that’s what I’ve inferred, since the asset icon has the content deleted symbol and it refuses to load in game with the correct asset ID. They don’t actually tell you it’s copyrighted, it just doesn’t let me use it (I’ve been able to get other videos to play just fine, and the asset has the proper permissions enabled).
My question is, if the system is so great that it can automatically detect copyrighted audio, why did they let me spend 2000 Robux I can’t get back before (not) telling me I can’t use it?
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because I would get my money’s worth, instead of the system acting like a vending machine that eats your money without giving you food.
