CoreGui Elements Missing After Game Load + ESC Menu Shows Broken Text

When joining some Roblox games, I’ve experienced an issue where the default CoreGui elements such as the chat, player list, leaderboard, backpack, and health bar fail to appear. The game loads fine, and pressing ESC opens the menu as expected, but all other system UI elements are completely missing. This problem happens across multiple unrelated games and seems to occur randomly. Sometimes rejoining the game or restarting Roblox temporarily brings the UI back, but in many cases, the issue returns even after doing so.

In addition to this, there’s a related problem with the leave menu (the ESC menu). Occasionally, the text inside the leave menu appears incorrect, with some parts either missing, untranslated, or displayed strangely. This adds to the confusion and makes the UI feel broken.

Both issues seem to be client-side and not related to any particular game’s scripts. I’ve encountered them on the Roblox desktop client, running Windows 10 (64-bit), using the latest version available as of June 2025. From the behavior, it appears that Roblox’s CoreGui system is failing to fully initialize or render properly during the game startup process.

Expected behavior

I expect all CoreGui elements—including the chat, player list, leaderboard, backpack, and health bar—to appear automatically, even if the game hasn’t fully loaded yet. These system UI elements should initialize reliably and be visible regardless of how long the game takes to load, especially on devices like mobile where loading times are longer. The ESC menu should also display properly, with correct and readable text, without any missing or broken labels. This should work consistently across all games without needing to rejoin or restart the Roblox client.

No, sadly. I’ll let you know when I hear new updates.

@Mkhada124 we will investigate soon, given this thread has not been looked at in a while we would like to know if the issue is still reproducible/relevant by you?

Hello, thank you for your response. I am not entirely sure. Sometimes the issue occurs and sometimes it does not, but it seems that the problem still persists.
