I have received many reports from my Operation One playerbase recently (around 10 PM CET, 23rd of September).
Apparently, some images/decals load in a corrupted state? or the wrong one gets loaded, or not at all? not sure what could cause this, I haven’t updated the game at all this past week.
Below I have uploaded some images provided/reported by the playerbase.
This issue is also now currently affecting our experience(s). This may be a repeat incident from my past report: Textures duplicating uncontrollably
We began receiving reports from players experiencing both missing textures and corrupted textures, starting around 11:30am PST, September 24, 2026. Reports, so far, have only come from PC users.
An affected texture from a user’s report (the grey ticket-shaped object beneath the glowing sun ray):
Additional missing textures from users who report similar issues can be found below. In the first image, the shield, droplets, hourglass, and moon texture should all have backgrounds behind them. In the second image, the Shop lacks it’s icon while the other buttons do not lack their icons:
My game Forsaken is also experiencing the same problem, this has been happening for the past couple days now. Would appreciate if we could get this fixed.
Hi Iustin2800, thanks for the report and the screenshots.
Could you share the asset IDs of a few affected images or decals? The screenshots show us what the issue looks like, but we need the actual assets to reproduce it.
Most of the reports, probably all came from people playing on PC, not sure what OS, one of my staff that encountered this issue experienced it on Windows 10.
One thing I’ve noticed, most, if not all the assets are older, and are uploaded under my account (Iustin2800), not under the game’s group (Colorful Squares), assets uploaded under the game’s group seem to be mostly fine (aside from maybe 1-2 outliers?).
I can try to provide more info if necessary, in case I missed something.
I have had this issue today but it exclusively happens with game thumbnails in studio. When I load the game up however it shows fine on the “connecting to server” preview?
It also appears to happen on different games every time I open a different Studio window and does not persist for specific games.
Yep, it seems this issue has started appearing again, alongside os.time() sometimes not returning correct values. Only Windows users seem affected.
It looks like Windows had another recent update, the issues have started to appear around the same time (and are still ongoing, as I still receive reports as of writing this):
