It would be nice if posts that are made by staff when new updates are announced/planned could be shown in a different colour?
Is it possible? I’m sorry if I am coming out as being a bit rude for asking about a feature based on my own opinion, but it would be nice.

Typically, pinned threads are from staff.
If there’s ever a super-important announcement it’ll probably be globally pinned, meaning it’ll show at the top of http://devforum.roblox.com/latest.
If you use the forum homepage (showing latest threads in all categories), I recommend locally unpinning the pinned threads you’ve already read so that you get a broader view of the recent threads per category. You can do this by clicking on the Pin icon next to the thread.
Omg, I didn’t even know that was possible. That’s a UX/UI discoverability issue right there, can you imagine that.
