Creator Dashboard - cannot switch back to user inventory from group inventory

Reproduction Steps

  1. Go to https://create.roblox.com
  2. Select the creator dropdown and switch to a group which you have permission to view
  3. Select the creator dropdown again - notice how there is no option to return to the user inventory view from the group inventory view.

Device Info:

  • User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
  • Platform Type: PC
  • Device Type: Computer

Expected Behavior
I expected that there would be an option in the creator dropdown while viewing a group’s inventory, which, when clicked on, would return me to my user inventory.

Actual Behavior
There is no option to switch back to my user inventory in the creator dropdown nor anywhere on the page.

Workaround
The workaround is to remove the group id URL parameter from the address bar (ie, https://create.roblox.com/creations?groupId=9164421 → https://create.roblox.com/creations) and refresh the page.

hey @codes4breakfast, thanks for the report. would you mind sharing some screenshots of the expanded dropdown that you see? my colleagues and I are unable to reproduce this issue - your own user should be at the very top of the dropdown, and you should be able to click that to go back to your own creations.

I was able to reproduce by playing around with window sizes. I’ll create a ticket to have this fix prioritized.
