Creator Hub Ban Panel Fails to Load

Starting today, I have been unable to view the bans for my experience. I am met with loading and then an error saying “There was a problem loading the table”

I presume it is due to this HTTP error.

This does not happen for other experiences within this group, only the one provided at the link. I have tried to load this on my computer as well as my phone.

Expected behavior

The bans should load and display on the creator hub.

Your issue has already been reported in the lower half of this bug report:

That bug report seems to primarily be for the mass banning.

Hi @HooferBevelops! Thanks for reporting this issue. We have put in a partial fix that should make this issue appear much less frequently, although it may still surface in some limited circumstances.

If you continue running into this, lowering the page size should help with the issue as a workaround. Definitely let us know if you run into any issues!

Unfortunately I can’t get it to stop happening. I’ve tried refreshing a dozen times to see if the error would fail to persist, but it still continues to happen. I believe my page size is still limited to 10, but it’s not easy for me to change because the error page removes the ability to do so.

Would you possibly be able to share the timing of the request? How long does it take before it returns the 504 to you?

Now that I’ve gone back, it appears to have fixed itself! I tried refreshing a few times to see if it would happen, and it won’t. Thanks for the help, sorry I couldn’t be of more use!

Out of curiosity, do you remember roughly how long it took to load before returning the error to you when you were encountering the issue earlier? We anticipate the issue is somewhat intermittent (we unfortunately aren’t able to put in a more permanent fix at this time), but I want to make sure the partial patch we put in is working as expected.

It was in the range of 5-10 seconds (likely on the lower side). I know it wasn’t fast at failing, it took a while.

Edit: 10 is probably an exaggeration. I’d say around ~5 seconds.

Got it. We will look at implementing a longer-term fix but unfortunately can’t promise anything at the moment, but you shouldn’t run into many more issues in the short term. Thanks again for reporting this issue!

We are having the same issue. As far as I remember our ban list isnt that long or unreasonably big; so I’m not sure why its struggling so much. It’s been like this for at least a week now if not longer. We’ve tried using a different browser and computer altogether and it still had the same issue.
