Creator Rewards telling me to sign up to DevEx despite having devexed multiple times before

Ever since the creator rewards tab has been added and i open it on any experience owned by a group that i own it is telling me to sign up for dev ex despite having dev exed multiple times before

Hi! Thanks for the report, I’ll be looking into this. Two questions for you to help me investigate the root cause:

  • Is this account that you’re seeing this banner on the account that owns the group?
  • Is the group owner account the account that is registered for DevEx?

Also, mind answering this question in relation to this bug:

Lots of users own groups on holder accounts that they don’t transfer/cash out Robux through—they’re all paid out to their accounts which are members of the group. Does this make experiences under these groups completely ineligible for Creator Rewards?

This was asked many times last month too. Unless Roblox says otherwise, the current answer is yes given the current rules that Roblox has stated. :cold_sweat:

the account that i am seeing the banner with is the owner of the group and that account has dev exed a few times before

Hi! Rest assured we’re also working on a fix for the Request Failed issue, and you can watch for updates in the report you linked. It’s outside of my personal area of expertise, so it’s being covered by a different set of engineers.

In my case, my group holder account did not have DevEx, but my main account (which is basically another owner in the group) did have DevEx.

I was not prompted anything about signing up for DevEx for audience expansion rewards (I assume because my main account had DevEx). A heads up like the “Sign up for DevEx” prompt would still be nice if the group owner does not have DevEx.

Yes, this prompt doesn’t show if you’re logged in on your main account (which is not the group holder), and your main account has DevEx, which is misleading.

Same here, but does this mean you need your group holder to have devex to continue earning or not.

I am also seeing this warning in my page “Share Links”.

  • I have never devexed because it has been denied multiple times.
  • I do, in fact, have registered an account in the DevEx Portal Tipalti about a year or two ago.

all this means you need to cash out, yet i dont know why you need to have a devex account for this

Personally, have no cashout option at all. Yes, I can DevEx but that’s using my main balance, which hasn’t raised since the premium payouts were changed to creator rewards aka not being rewarded anything, no idea what’s going on. Emailed them, seems like the entire system is broken

I haven’t recieved a penny since Creator Rewards has been introduced. I don’t know if it’s the 60 day period (which by the way, makes ZERO sense why it’s so long) thing or if the rewards system is just janked.
Also showing the DevEx alert on my end too.

i will try to cash out and if the warning disappear after its succesfull i will tell u

most likely is the 60 day period.. One only starts earning after September 24th. Nothing has been validated yet on my end.

Hopefully they reward us for also the ones between Jul-Sept.. It is a bit odd that there is a 60 day holding period for the daily engagement, although that is mainly from players.

No official confirmation yet, contacted Roblox Support. They said to have “escalated it to supervisors” and a pending time of 7-10 business days but based on the initial response, doesn’t seem intentional
