Creator Store monetization requires 2FA, but doesn't recognize "Enhanced Protection"

Hello,

I’m trying to publish a new plugin and adjust the pricing, but I am completely locked out of the registration process due to a 2FA check bug.

When I click the register button, select my country of residence, and agree to the terms, it attempts to bring me to Stripe to complete setup. Then, I get a pop-up stating that 2-step verification is required. I hit Setup, and it, of course, brings me to my security settings.

The problem is that I have Enhanced Security enabled, which is where I assume the problem is. The 2-step creation area underneath the Enhanced Protection panel is greyed out. So, I am thinking the system believes I have no 2FA at all.

I am using Chrome v.151 on Windows 11.

Expected behavior

The monetization page should recognize Enhanced Protection as a valid 2SV method and let me proceed with the registration form or to Stripe.

Hello! Thank you for reporting this. Our team has put in a fix and this should no longer be blocking your ability to enter your Stripe account. You’ll be able to use your Enhanced Security measure to complete the pop-up. We appreciate your patience on this matter.
