Criticism for The Test

I’m making a horror game, the test, and I want feedback on it. I didn’t make the questions for the test and I am working on my own original questions so instead, please focus on these areas.

  • Atmosphere - How does the game make you feel while playing?
  • Sounds - How good do the sounds sound? Do they help the atmosphere or break it?
  • UI - How does the UI look and feel?
  • Pacing - Is the game too slow? Too fast?
  • Any future suggestions for the game
  • Game page - Is the description bad? Does the title need to change?

I plan to add a test maker thing where you can make your own “test” for other people, though I might scrap the idea. The game’s thumbnail and icon are a placeholder and I am going to change them soon, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Edit: There’s a discord server for the game that’s listed on the game page that you can join to provide suggestions and such and also talk to me directly because I plan to make it so that certain people will be able to make their own tests. I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback and I just wanna say: thank you!

This is probably the best horror game ive played in a while because the UI is responsive and the sounds dont break the atmosphere.

Instead of saying this game may feature things not suitable for people under the age of 13. Instead you should say, this game features scary elements and it not for people easily scared.

I have unironically never seen a better atmosphere then this game

It’s not overexaggerated, just feels calm and nothing else

This is also a joke question, it’s amazing

Not at all, I like it

but add “your mom” as a answer to all questions

Aside from the thumbnail, it’s fine

Alright, I’ll change that. I’m making a second test (it isn’t related to the one that’s in the game) and I also plan to make a test maker. Thanks for the feedback! (same thing goes for everyone else, I didn’t wanna spam replies)
