CROSSWOODS IS BACK with a new method that needs to get fixed ASAP

There is a very new type of Crosswoods game and needs to get fixed very quickly because multiple of people are getting banned from this. It was discovered about 2 days ago and have made posts about this issue on our channel. This persons username is “Encryptionite” and their Crosswoods game is called “serverside-test-logs”. If you have any questions or want to go deeper into how it works, the video is on X Core Studios which is also in our group.

How does it work?
Whenever the owner asks a player to join this game and they chat inside of that game, they can get banned if the owner reports them. The game has bypassed chat so anyone can say anything inside of this game because the owner tricked the Roblox GUI system and bans anyone who says anything.

How long is the ban?
The ban is a basic punishment, it just thinks you are swearing if you say anything in chat so it could be a warning up to an account deletion if you have enough violations.

What needs to be fixed?
When I joined this game for the first time it had an warning in the Roblox GUI which seems like a great clue of why this is happening, the fix must be so players cannot change anything inside the Roblox GUI at any time.

Here’s an example of the violation if you do chat inside these types of games:

He is also trying to make others bypass chat which is the same crosswoods, if someone chats inside their game with that GUI, they will get banned

I don’t understand how this is still an issue. There should be a secure text area and secure event that can’t be modified by the developer, outside of typical UI appearance. This way Roblox could tell the difference between a user’s real chats and a chat sent from a script.

Unfiltered chat is another issue too. I don’t know that there’s a way to deal with that without having an automatic system that will pretend to be a normal user, say something that should be filtered, and read all text in the game to detect if it comes up anywhere unfiltered, but I guess it would have to ignore TextBox text.

I mean, I don’t know if these are the best solutions, but Roblox really needs to figure this out and soon.
