I thought it was odd that I couldn’t union this together:

Version 0.201.0.60893 (Current-ish)

Version 0.187.0.56990 (A while ago)

The current version isn’t able to union something this older version could. (I copied and pasted the same parts into both versions) This “Error -9” seems to only appear in newer versions of studio. It’s responsible for a lot of other failed operations such as this one:

If I union either of those selections (which contain 1x1x1 parts aligned to the 1-stud grid) in the old version, I can take it apart in either version, so it’s not like it creates a corrupted union. The resulting union is perfectly fine, and it should not error in newer versions of studio with error -9.

I’ve noticed that same error with the wedges myself, and I got the same ‘Union Unsolvable -9’ error you have. Something’s changed in CSG recently (possibly the same thing that sent failed union parts to the origin), and not all for the better.
