I usually only have one place open at once and I occasionally get the Ctrl D key acting as D.
I usually have CmdUtl open so I just use its ‘Duplicate No Move’ tool.
If it helps, this doesn’t just happen with Ctrl+D – I’ve recently created a shortcut for Ctrl+Q to select all, and like Ctrl+D, it will (unmap?) itself and it will ignore the key shortcut and move the camera down (that’s what q does by default) – it isn’t just related to keys that move the camera either. For instance, I had set space to select all and g to union, and if I pressed space, union, then selected another object to select all, the select all shortcut didn’t work – this happened almost every time.
Is anyone else still getting this? I know it’s over a year old, but it still bugs out on me.
I’m still generally only working with 1 place open. I don’t always have the qCmdUtl plugin open when it happens. I may or may not have the ARC plugin open.
I still get it also. I also have just one place open, and I don’t have qCmdUtil or the ARC plugin. I do use @EchoReaper’s modified CmdUtil a lot, though, as well as @Stravant’s EdgeAlign and GapFill plugins.
