Ctrl+F shortcut does not always bring up the find search

I use a dual monitor setup. I typically have a script on each monitor and many times I use Ctrl-F to bring up search in whatever script I am editing. However, many times the search does not come up. So I end up having to click on another script tab and hit Ctrl-F on that one, then go back to the original “undocked” script and click Ctrl-F and then it will work (sometimes). In other words, I click on a script that I have undocked on another screen to activate the cursor/window. Then I click Ctrl-F and the search does not always popup. The fix seems to be clicking on another script tab and hitting Ctrl-F (which also does not always work), then going back to the undocked script, click Ctrl-F again to see if it will work. Not sure if this only happens when tabs are undocked. This happens on both my workstations which both have dual monitors.

Expected behavior

Expected Result: If I am working in a script, docked or undocked, on one monitor or two monitors, and I hit Ctrl-F, the search should pop up on that script that I’m working on. It does not always popup, so I have to jump around to different script tabs pushing Ctrl-F until it works, then I can usually go back to the script I need the search for and try it again hoping it will work.

The bottom line is if you are in a script and hit Ctrl-F, search should always popup in that script.

As a side note, it would be nice to be able to dock the search on all script tabs/windows so that I don’t have to bring it up each time.

Thank you!!

So does this bug report just get buried and forgotten? It would be nice to at least know if Roblox staff even saw it. The reality is it takes time for us to stop what we are doing and report a bug to help improve the studio application. A simple confirmation that it was viewed by Roblox would be a nice gesture.
