TigerCaptain and I both own Sharkbyte Studios and the group itself has been verified since September 2022 yet we still aren’t verified. Both of us have +10k followers and have the requirement of “Experience Developers”
We both did the accelerators at Roblox back in 2016, and I did it again in 2018 (plus our own toys from roblox) yet guess that doesn’t matter when it comes to being verified. Not sure what to do at this point but always get the response of we don’t meet the requirements.
What we both follow under when it comes to being verified: “Or, you are a contributor to such an experience and have at least 10K legitimate followers on Roblox. A legitimate follower is someone who appears to be a real user, as opposed to a bot.”
The following applies to the group holder account only, not contributor/developer accounts. Verification badges have been indefinitely paused for contributors, and the non-issuance of the badge to contributors is not a bug:
Please check your cumulative playtime stats for your game in the last 90 days. If it does not exceed 1M hours, you are ineligible for the badge.
My account does have 2fa, otherwise the group wouldn’t be verified + I own the group. Also we would follow under “Or, you are a contributor to such an experience and have at least 10K legitimate followers on Roblox. A legitimate follower is someone who appears to be a real user, as opposed to a bot”
“Such an experience” means the experience has 1M hours of playtime in the last 90 days—-you don’t get the badge from simply having 10K followers, both requirements must be met. Looking at your experiences under the group you listed, it doesn’t seem this requirement is met, so unfortunately it seems you’re ineligible. Sorry, but it doesn’t seem like this is a bug.
There was probably some other requirement that wasn’t met. Regardless, I don’t think engineers would give you the badge as a courtesy considering you no longer meet the requirements—they’ll only change anything if there’s actually a flaw in the badge issuance system, which doesn’t seem to be the case here.
