I’m working on a custom animation player to allow for some new features and was curious to know if anyone knows how the built in system works and if it’s possible to find its source code somewhere. I’m most curious about how it manages to play all the animations so efficiently.
Alternatively, if you happen to have any insight about how efficient animation players are made then I’d be more than happy to hear from you. I can currently manage around 50 characters playing an animation without any real issues in performance but going above that starts becoming a little laggy.
