What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
I Need my animations to transfer properly from blender, to Roblox. -
What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
For some reason for every model I’ve imported, while the rig seems to import relatively fine, the motor imports are usually of the wrong direction. But this seems to be different for every motor making any animations made in blender utterly meaningless unless I change the motor rotations manually which is imprecise and very time consuming. -
What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Creator Hub?
I’ve tried changing the bone roll properties but this only SOMETIMES works and even if it does work, its not always in the right axis for all axis’.
Take a look at how it looks.
Expected Pose (Test Pose):
Imported Pose (Test):
As you can see, the expected pose for the legs is out and to the back.
However, on import, the legs move out and forward instead of back. This is a huge problem to animate.
The Front and Top faces are correct in Roblox, and the Blender Import axis’ are -Y and Z for Forward and Up axis’ respectively, so there is nothing wrong with the axis export/import.
The Legs are all i’ve bothered to pose at the moment since I know the arms will have a similar issue, I dont want to move forward until I fully understand how to fix this problem.
I hope someone has the answer by now because this tech has been out for years now…
Thanks
