I have one simple question:

Are you allowed to make a custom message filter to censor messages shown to other people? (Players can write them)

So for example, you want to know if you are allowed to custom sensor certain blacklisted words (such as promo codes, or quiz answers) in the chat? I don’t know of anything that explicitly says you aren’t allowed to.

It’s more like a censor to filter swear words etc and override the roblox chat filter

You can, but it’ll have to be AFTER using the Roblox chat filter or BEFORE using it. If some things don’t get censored/filtered properly, Roblox can ban you for that. Also, it’d require a custom chat UI.
