Custom Starter Character's Legs Sink

I’m creating a weird custom character, and I rigged it and everything. Once I tested it out I discovered the legs were sinking into the ground and the torso was hitting the ground, sometimes the legs do collide and push me up onto a part but instantly sinks.
Any idea why? I did the welds, motors, and everything else so I don’t see why its doing this.

Either HumanoidRootPart’s placement or HipHeight on Humanoid is incorrectly set. Check them both.

I slightly adjusted the root size to the torso more, and I still sink(i redid the hip root of course)

PS: the pyramid on top of his head is a hat, not a body part.
