I’m using Roblox Studio on macOS and whenever I create a new tab with the new Roblox Studio UI, a few days later or even a day later, the tab is automatically deleted and I have to remake it and add the tools back in.
Expected behavior
I would expect the tab to stay how it is unless I change it or if Roblox updates that feature.
I’m sorry this is happening. It’s the first we’ve heard of it so thank you for reporting this .
We save custom tabs in your Documents directory specifically so we don’t stomp them with fresh installs or updates. What’s in your ~/Documents/Roblox/<userID>/CustomRibbonTabs folder?
How long has this been going on? If you can snag logs and send them the first time you see the tabs disappear, that would be hugely helpful.
When the new UI was released, I kept using the Beta Settings to switch back to the old then a few months ago I just stayed on the new UI and made a new tab and basically since I decided to stay on the new UI it happend whenever I made a new tab.
Can you DM Paul or Myself logs from the session where you create a new tab, please?

The files in there should be sorted by date, and you’re looking for ones that have Studio in the name. Please ensure you don’t share them publicly as they can contain sensitive information.

I’ll DM the logs for the next time it happens because I don’t remember the date for the last one. I saved the date for today’s because I created a tab today
I can’t message you here for some reason. However, on 06/04/2026, I created a tab and I haven’t had any issues with it since then. I’ll still let you know if any issues do arise.
