Dangerous Driving Game [FEEDBACK and BUGS]

Hello,

:police_car_light: I just launched my new game :backhand_index_pointing_right: Dangerous ATV Driving - Roblox

:busts_in_silhouette: You can ride ATVs solo or with a friend on the same vehicle. Grab a buddy and test it out!

:speech_balloon: I’d love your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions before I start advertising the game.

Pretty good actually. I managed to get through the first world and it was enjoyable. Not too difficult, not too easy. Good luck

The game is actually better than I expected!

Details that I liked

  • The ATV wheels move smoothly.
  • UI tweens amazingly.
  • Engaging but subtle features that enhance UX.
  • Recognisable and straightforward UI and Icons.
  • Map and Terrain design; chosen assets go well with the terrain.
  • Checkpoint & +1 Win animation is amazing.
  • Death sounds remind me of Slap Battles. (Very nice feature)
  • Straightforward vehicle statistics, just speed & price.
  • Camera moves smoothly and nicely.
  • Smart & witty badge and dev-product introduction. (Example below)

There are definitely more aspects to the game that I like, but those are the only things I have written down.

Bugs, Inconsistencies & Design

UI

  • Some UI icons aren’t up to par with others: e.g., (Respawn Icon, Flag Icon, Nuke Icon, Revive Icon, etc.)
  • UI buttons and frame gradients are quite hard to look at as a UI designer. (Try to make the gradients affect the full background instead of just a big portion of the middle.)
  • Strokes look odd: Should be using Bevel or Miter “LineJoinMode” on TextLabels.
  • Topbar UI bug: “Hide UI” button hover text says “Invite”
  • Original Colours for UI: Spin Button & Worlds Button have the same background colour; try to make different colours for them.

Worlds

Balancing

  • Some timed rewards are too OP. (More playtime should be required)

Those are the only problems I have found and documented.

This game is excellent, although there are some issues with it. Most of these are purely visual, which aren’t the biggest deal.

Game’s cool i’ve completed the first stage and reached the 1st checkpoint of the 2nd stage, i think you’ll have good average playtime stats not sure about day 1 retention tho, there’s nothing cool to work or strive for… other than experiencing all the levels, also the thing i disliked about the game is that the first unlock doesn’t give you more speed, pretty lame.

I predict a 10 mins average playtime session and 3-5% day 1 retention

Thank you for the very detailed feedback! I’m glad you told me what should be fixed. I will try to fix most of the issues (I’m mainly a programmer, so the UI might not fully satisfy you anyways ).

Thank you. Yes, I’m worried about retention (mainly from the algorithm side), but hopefully the other game statistics will be good.

Still, a great game regardless of the UI!
