Default script editor vs Rojo. Which is better?

Hello, so recently, i switched over to rojo, i really like it! I think it’s cool with the importing from VS code. But which is better? What are the pros and cons?

Currently, these are the pros and cons of Rojo i know of
Pros of VS code

  • backup code if studio crashes
  • better script editor
  • more customization with languages

Cons:

  • auto complete isn’t as good as the studio one(not a big deal, i know the apis)

Do what fits your workflow. If you’re in a team, do what you’re required to do.

IMO the most important reason for using an external editor is to have a proper VCS workflow, i.e. git. AFAIK there aren’t really any ways of getting that other than Rojo.
