You can call SomePart:BreakJoints() on it, which should remove any welds or other connections. Make sure it’s actually an enemy vehicle and not something more critical like a critical part of the turret or a player first, because it might mess things up if you go using it willy-nilly.

Just to make sure, does it really also break joints/welds even if they aren’t children of the part?
It will separate a part no matter how the part is attached.
