Deleted Thumbnail Appears as a Selectable Option in the “Report Abuse” Flow

Description:

When attempting to report an experience that previously had a moderated or deleted thumbnail, the deleted thumbnail still appears as one of the optional selectable thumbnails in the “Report Abuse” screen. The thumbnail shows up as a large square “deleted” icon, visually inconsistent with the other smaller available thumbnails, and should not appear at all, especially since the asset is already moderated and no longer relevant for content moderators.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Have or locate an experience that has a moderated or deleted thumbnail.
  2. Open the experience’s page.
  3. Click “Report Abuse”.
  4. In the section where you can optionally attach a thumbnail to your report, observe that the deleted thumbnail appears as a large square “deleted” icon.
  5. Notice that the system allows selecting this deleted thumbnail when submitting the report, even though it has already been moderated.

Expected Behavior:

  • Deleted or moderated thumbnails should not appear in the list of selectable thumbnails on the Report Abuse screen.
  • If they do appear, they should not be selectable because there is nothing for moderators to review.
  • Thumbnail sizes should be consistent with the remaining available thumbnails.

I experienced this issue in the following experience (one of their thumbnails was moderated but they forgot to remove it):

Normally, thumbnails in the Report Abuse flow appear like the following:

Hi Yavuz, thanks for flagging this. We’re taking a look.

We rolled out a fix and the issue should be resolved now. Let us know if everything’s back to normal. Thanks for the report!

Yeah, it’s fixed on my end. Thanks for your time and effort.:folded_hands:
