Deleting posts now has a limit?

I tried to delete several posts earlier, but this error keeps showing up

Well I guess if it’s showing up for you. Probably to stop spam deleting post…? But who would spam delete post, and why?

My deleting is not that severe :joy: and this applies to the whole forum, not only one thread.

What do you mean by this? Well, it happens to everyone he’s. But it happened for multiple threads? You said not only one thread? Is that what you mean? I’m confused right now.

He means he wasn’t deleting posts on one thread, he was deleting posts across multiple threads.

If I try to delete a post that I have made anywhere on the forum, the error will show up.

Then that’s why, he was deleting to much at one time. @wevetments its kinda like slow mode on discord.

Don’t quite get why there’s a limit to delete a post but whatever…
I guess if you’re getting the error then there is a cooldown to deleting posts. InceptionTime has also revealed that there’s a cooldown for staff adding people to the Beta list. Some cooldowns seem a bit unnecessary but they aren’t heavily impacting the usage of the forum I guess.

Is this limit a suggestion or is this a new feature in Discourse? I personally see no point in limiting post deleting because I don’t want to wait for a lead to delete my post for me.
