Depth of Field is completely broken

As stated in the title, I cannot use or see any effects produced by Depth of Field.
I tried to search throughout all of the forums, but I still not able to see it on my client.

People who played my game gave me complaints about seeing a DepthOfField “blur”
Here’s how it looks on their screen:

On the other hand, it’s completely gone for me:

I’ve tried to completely uninstall/reinstall the roblox client, still doesn’t work.
I’ve tried to update my graphics driver, still doesn’t work.
I’ve tried to increase the graphics level in studio settings, doesn’t work.

My graphics mode is currently OpenGL, maybe that has something to do with it, I’m not sure.

This isn’t exclusive to my game either, it also breaks whenever I use it in other projects. I’m not sure if it’s some GPU issue or what, but for some reason it’s only effecting me.

It’s not exclusive to my account either, when I switched to a different Roblox account, the client was still not letting me see the DepthOfField Effect.

If anyone knows a better possible solution than what I’ve already tried please help.

Update: I’ve gotten it to work on the Roblox Client by increasing my graphics quality to 8:

However in studio, even at max graphics it still doesn’t work.

That’s strange. Btw why would you need it to work in studio if it works perfectly fine in Roblox? I’ve seen so many issues in Studio or even the whole platform where exactly 1 user will see this problem and everybody else wont. Like my graphics settings don’t save. Try to test it on another device with a different IP.

I got it to work by resetting my studio settings, and setting my In Game graphics to at least 8. Even though I figured it out, I’m still bamboozled on what in my Studio settings caused it to break in the first place. If you or anyone knows, that would be great.

Could Editor Quality Level have been set to something lower than 15? depth of field seems to only work on 16 or above

No, when it was broken I set it to max 21, so it couldn’t have been editor quality.

What is your Graphics Mode in Studio? It should be in the Rendering submenu, but you can also search for it.

When it was broken, it was OpenGL. Currently it works and is OpenGL, so I don’t think the mode affects it. (I hope I’m thinking the correct thing)

I don’t think it should be functional on OpenGL? Regardless, using the OpenGL mode also disables the high-quality shadows and forces it to look like the “Voxel” lighting mode, in case you didn’t know, so your game’s lighting might look different in Studio compared to in the Client.
