Detecting Animations Played By The Client From The Server

Howdy! I’m packrat7. I have been making an animation based game that runs animations on the client side. something I would love to know is if it would be possible for the Server to detect an animation being played from the Client.

If you know if this is possible I would love to know. Thank you for your time.

you could fire a remote event each time a player runs an animation

This is what I have been doing, I have an Animation Based combat system and for an anticheat I need to verify that an animation is playing when the remotes are fired.

Exploiters could just fire the remote to make the game think remotes are being fired during an animation.

Any Animations played on a player in game on the client automatically is replicated to the server and the server can receive animation data from them, to get the animations a character is currently playing you could use Humanoid:GetPlayingAnimationTracks()

I see. Thanks for the info. I completely forgot that exists

I have to know. Did this worked? I have the same problem

Well, it didn’t work as well as I thought since latency made it difficult to work with.
