Every time a DevForum troll gets banned, they will ALWAYS return on another account.
For example:
@1kaelen1 > @cycletablereference
@VastMajorPie > @SuperExcitedUserIs
I could list off more examples but I’m doing stuff right now.
Please add the equivalent of enforcement bans to the Developer Forum. They can’t just keep coming back like this!
For example if they get banned off of the Developer Forum some flag will be set saying they can’t use another Developer Forum account on this IP again
What about people that live with relatives, and one the relatives gets banned from the devforum?
This argument only applies to main Roblox accounts.
On average around 1 person in a house uses the Developer Forum. As crazy as this sounds, they should probably just appeal the action saying that they’re the sibling and was caught in the crossfire.
I’d say the individuals involved are few in numbers and the incentives are largely Lounge which will be removed March 1st. Efforts might not be worth it in the short term.
All that said, I wouldn’t overly fight back against the change.
Edit: actually the IP banning thing not a fan of. 1iyq gives good counter imo.
ip bans arent really effective though because of vpns, plus this introduces the possibility of using a vpn/public wifi and getting banned because someone else did something on that ip
You aren’t even close to figuring out who VastMajorPie is & how many alts he has.
But I agree, it’s only getting worse. I made a post about the bot problem recently.
How do you even know these are the alts of the main account?
What’s funny is that the moderators can see anyone’s IP at any time. They just, for some reason, don’t use it when moderating accounts.
Maybe a different option instead of using IP? It can be easily bypassed

also the fact you hate an individual in your own profile description is… I don’t know dude, what about messaging them privately instead of naming and making unnecessary call-outs?

i know the cycletable’s an alt because kaelen got so mad he joined my serverand forgot he was on his normal discord account
the other one i already know because the usual “forum moderators rot in hell” message and also the fact he got banned almost instantly
that was from months ago and i removed it just now
well i have to provide some sort of example for stuff like this, its clear that if i don’t actually provide examples the staff’ll understand the request wrong
ok now i’ve had some of my lunch i do realise that this isn’t the solution

MINOR UPDATE:
seems to be a internal network of people that are running scripts to automatically get themselves permissions on the devforum, which also shows how quickly they’re coming back
roblox please take action on this!!!
