Currently I’m working on a project that used to be on an engine known as Love2D, and since Love2D doesn’t have an easy-to-arrange structure or network system compared to Roblox, I decided to recreate the game in Roblox where there is better control over my game.
The game is called TestPlatformer, which is originated from the original project name that was going to be a placeholder, but the name eventually caught on in my brain as a more original name.
Here are some of my development media:
I’m already fleshing out the details for my game, like UI and abilities. An ability designed within the Love2D edition which breaks blocks will likely be remade here!
I have heard numerous times from friends asking if I am working on games I left out during the time of not having a PC, like Work at an Office! In my response: Not at the moment. The old projects are too difficult to continue modifying, and would take too much brain power to understand the logic behind my brain from a few years ago.
It doesn’t particularly confirm I won’t ever update my older games, but it does mean I prefer making a project I am already working on so my brain is on the same page as the project, as the mental structure is still in memory.
So that is the current update of what I have been doing. If you want to try the game out, it is currently in a closed [Dev] build of the game, but I am soon going to make an alpha build for players to try out.
